SuperGamesInc (highest sample size, my favorite seller)ĬoreTCG (same state, second favorite seller)ĭolly's Toy and Games (never gives tracking numbers, but never had any problems) (low sample size, some had bad experiences)Įpik Card and Games (possibly slow on cheap orders with no tracking number)Ĭard Rush (Same state, some experienced bad card quality)ĭabbers (some experienced bad card quality) Different cards has different cheap sellers I will say though that nearly all these sellers have delivered cards, whether they were slow or fast and I've only chosen the Gold Star Sellers! Just a reminder that this tier list is purely for shipping speed and not card quality or price because no one seller is consistently the cheapest. This is definitely not comprehensive but I was hoping that anyone who has their own experiences can contribute! I'm hoping to find a good list of sellers that I can consistently buy from. I would like to compile a tier of sellers on the website with your help in order to bring some accountability and would like to just start off with my own experience. Hey guys so I'm definitely not the expert on this but I have bought quite a lot of cards from different sellers on tcgplayer on and off throughout the years and recently have been categorizing the sellers based on average shipping speed. 7/25/2023 0 Comments Div overflow hiddenSetting this and then relatively positioning upwards behaved almost identically in Safari, Firefox and IE with only a pixel or two of discrepancy. As best I can tell, the only vertical-align statement that was consistent across browsers was vertical-align: bottom.I think it might be valid CSS, but you're still better off with conditional comments just used it for simplicity. Both IE 6 and 7 will notice it, but Safari and Firefox will properly ignore it. The *overflow declaration is an inline IE hack (the star-property hack). Obviously in a live environment you'll probably be nesting/overriding stuff to support other input elements, but I wanted to keep things simple. This code assumes that you're using a reset like Eric Meyer's that doesn't override form input margins and padding (hence putting margin and padding resets in the input CSS). In my example I have set the header to snap to its content (as per the OPs question), I've added a footer to show how to add a fixed-height region and then set the content area to fill up the remaining space. With flexbox you can easily switch between any of your rows or columns either having fixed dimensions, content-sized dimensions or remaining-space dimensions. To check current support you can also see here: For IE 10 or older, you can use the FlexieJS shim. See the compatibility table on each property for an up-to-date compatibility status.Īll major browsers and IE11+ support Flexbox. WebKit implementation must be prefixed with -webkit- Internet Explorer implements an old version of the spec, prefixed with -ms- Opera 12.10 implements the latest version of the spec, unprefixed. Note: Though CSS Flexible Boxes Layout specification is at the Candidate Recommendation stage, not all browsers have implemented it. The specification for flexbox has definitely settled now. There are two other answers briefly mentioning flexbox however, that was more than two years ago, and they don't provide any examples. 7/25/2023 0 Comments Random things to think aboutNowadays, families worldwide place a pillow on top of their fridge every year on May 29 th. The tradition adapted over time to fit the modern kitchen. It’s believed that doing so brought luck, peace, and prosperity to the household. Back then, people didn’t have refrigerators and instead would hang a piece of cloth in their larders. The roots of this odd-sounding holiday go back hundreds of years, starting in the early 1900s. Although we don’t really need them now, our ancestors would have needed them when facing off against large beasts before the age of humanity began! May 29 is officially “Put a Pillow on Your Fridge Day.” Goosebumps are a reaction to increased adrenaline, which is why we get goosebumps when cold or emotional. But you don’t see the goosebumps hidden underneath their fur, which they also get when they’re scared. If you look at a cat that’s facing off against a dog, you’ll often see its hair standing on edge. What/who is it?”ĭo we understand it? Not a chance, but we recognize a “your mom” joke when we see one! You get Goosebumps when you’re scared to make yourself look bigger. The translated form of the world’s oldest your mom joke is “…of your mother is by the one who has intercourse with her. The results? We know that the tablet does indeed contain jokes, but the full meaning has been lost in translation. But, researchers were able to analyze and translate the text from a photograph of the tablet. In 1976, archaeologists discovered a tablet in Iraq, which has since been lost. The oldest “your mom” joke was discovered on a 3,500-year-old Babylonian tablet. While crows can tell us apart, we would find it difficult to distinguish one crow from another. Crows often hold grudges against specific people.Ĭrows are excellent at recognizing people’s faces and are able to remember people for a long time! This can be either a negative or positive fact, depending on how nice you are to them. When snakes sense an earthquake, they often leave their nests, even if the temperature is too cold. They can even sense an earthquake five days before it actually occurs! Yet, snakes are the most reliable, sensing earthquakes from as far as 75 miles away (121 km). Many animals are able to predict earthquakes to varying levels of success. So instead, orange-colored things would be called ġeolucrog (yellow-saffron), or if something had more of a red tinge to it, it was called ġeolurēad (yellow-red). Of course, there were many things before this that today would undeniably be called orange, but there wasn’t a name for the color back then. The color orange didn’t exist in the English language until the late 15th century when the first oranges began to appear in England. The real question you should be asking is why this isn’t a law everywhere?! The color orange was actually named after oranges. While this may sound like an odd law to try and enforce, it makes perfect sense! Guinea pigs are social animals and easily feel lonely or depressed, which is basically a form of animal cruelty. In Switzerland, it is illegal to own just one guinea pig. One thing I’d suggest is adding a quick check that fetches all the existing webhooks and only registers the ones that you need. If you know for sure that they’re gone you can just re-run that and you’ll be good to go. Getting your webhook subscriptions back should be straightforward as your app already the code that registered them in the first place. How do you catch up? Let’s tackle the problems in order of importance. Not only that, but Shopify has cancelled your webhooks because you weren’t responding for an extended period of time. It’s back on its feet now, but you’ve missed a pile of data that was sent to you in the meantime. Imagine the worst case scenario: Your hosting centre exploded and your app has been offline for more than 48 hours. This one is a key component of good software design in general, but I think it’s worth mentioning here as the scope is beyond the usual recommendations about data validation and handling failures gracefully. In Rails, Delayed Jobs are perfect for this. To make sure that apps don’t accidentally run over the timeout limit, we now recommend that apps defer processing until after the response has been sent. This has led to situations where webhooks were removed from functioning apps. There have been several historical occurrences of apps that do some lengthy processing when they receive a webhook that triggers the timeout. If you’re receiving a Shopify webhook, the most important thing to do is respond quickly. We wait 10 seconds for a response to each request, and if there isn’t one or we get an error, we retry the connection several times over the next 48 hours. To this end, we’ve implemented a 10-second timeout period and a retry period for subscriptions. At Shopify we’ve identified two key issues: There’s no official spec for webhooks, so the way they’re served and managed is up to the originating service. Bam, now you have a fully searchable up-to-date product catalog that you can transform or filter any way you please. Then you can register a webhook on the product/updated event that captures changes and updates your local copy accordingly. You then persist this using your favourite local storage solution. This may take several successive requests if there’s a large number of products. The first thing you should do is grab a copy of the store’s product catalog using the standard REST interface. Let’s use searching for product SKUs on Shopify as an example: Fortunately some forward planning and webhooks can help. Re-requesting the entire product catalog of a store whenever you want to search by SKU or grabbing the entire order history when you need to find all shipping addresses in a particular city is highly inefficient. Shopify offers several filters on our index requests, but there’s a fair amount of secondary or implied data that isn’t directly covered by these. If you would otherwise have to poll for data, you should be using webhooks.Īnother common use-case we’ve seen is when you’re dealing with data that isn’t easily searchable though the API you’re dealing with. In Shopify, this includes actions like an order being placed, a product price changing, etc. The obvious case for webhooks is when you need to act on specific events. Through working with our third-party developer community here at Shopify, we’ve identified some common problems and caveats that need to be considered when using webhooks. They’re simple to set up and really easy to consume. Webhooks are brilliant when you’re running an app that needs up-to-date information from a third party. And with all the people refusing to wear masks, there’s been no shortage of Karen incidents going viral this year. While Karen memes are by no means new, this year they exploded. Maybe it’s something in the air this year, but 2020 has seen a huge rise in “Karens”-someone who acts superior and insists on seeing the manager. You might be surprised how many things Michael Jordan took personally. So it should come as no surprise that the internet made a bunch of memes about the documentary. Similar to Tiger King, The Last Dance helped us get through the initial first wave in the beginning of the year. During the debate a fly landed on Pence’s head for a solid minute-so Twitter went off. The Vice President Pence Fly meme took the internet by storm after his debate with Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris. While the election was a terrible experience, we can at least look back at some of the memes and laugh. We’re just slightly ashamed that we were in Joe Exotic’s one percent of fans on Spotify. It feels like it was forever ago that our timelines were filled with Carol Baskin and Joe Exotic memes. Yeah, we can’t believe that Tiger King was released this year either. Some of the variations hit a little too close to home though. The seemingly endless different mashups that people created had us rolling all year. No matter your political leanings, this meme was one of the most entertaining of 2020. Here’s our list of 20 memes that did the trick. As we look toward the new year, let’s give thanks for what really got us through 2020-the memes. With this year finally coming to a close, we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief. 7/25/2023 0 Comments Dvdstyler chapter greyed outDoing so in this specialised dialog avoids having to fiddle with the individual styles of the family, which is really inconvenient and not user-friendly if you revamp your numbering. You have to go through this pain if you add your own outline styles, for example if you need different sequences like numbers for main text chapters and letters for appendices. But this is advance Writer use and I don’t think you’re presently ready for that.Īs Writer is released, Heading 1 is intended for chapters (as remarked) with the rest of the family for deeper headers (sub-chapters, sections, …). One reason I could see for Heading 2 as chapter style would be using Heading 1 for a more global structure than chapter, like “Book” in a complex document about various semi-independent topics. It would call for particular numbering structure but it is perfectly legitimate. All Heading n are collected to build the TOC and the layout for the levels in the TOC are controlled by Contents n style family. Thus Content 1 can be configured to center the heading of Heading 1 if it relates to a book and all other Content n left aligned for chapters and sections ( Heading n n>1). In your case, don’t mix document structure and appearance. It’s a fact that residents are quite proud of, as the annual Mushroom Festival is one of the area’s most popular events. The Mushroom Festival is always held on the first weekend after Labor Day, and there are a variety of activities to look forward to. Register for the National Fried Mushroom Eating Contest, or enter your child in the Cute-as-a-Button (Mushroom) Baby Photo Contest. There is also a community parade, a run and walk, and an antique car show. Specific events may vary from year to year. Of course, you’ll also be treated to all of the mushrooms you can eat prepared in a variety of delicious ways. The annual Kennett Brewfest is held each year to raise funds for Historic Kennett Square-a nonprofit organization that collaborates with public and private sectors to promote the social, cultural, and economic vitality of Kennett Square. 7/25/2023 0 Comments Authy 1passwordBut that's not really safe, nor is it smart.
